SAVING LIFES WITH CLEAN WATER PUMPS
Unfortunately extreme poverty in countries like Togo and the Gambia persists and the problems poverty creates are widespread. Hunger, water-borne illness, disease, lack of education, gender inequality, and overall a poor quality of life all stem from poverty. Having clean water is a basic need and is the first step in improving the quality of life for these villages.
HELP END MALARIA DEATHS
Give the Dream Foundation is working with the U.S. Peace Corps and their volunteers around the world. contributing and supporting an education and mosquito net distribution.
Today malaria is found throughout the tropical and sub-tropical regions of the world and causes more than 300 to 500 million acute illnesses and at least 1 million deaths annually.
BUILD DORMITORIES & CLASSROOMS
Give The Dream Foundation is currently supporting projects to build a girls’ dormitories and teacher accommodations at a school in Lesotho as a part of the Let Girls Learn Peace Corps Initiative. The funding for the projects was a combination of community contributions and international contributions like yours. Several buildings are near completion, however now there is a need for bunk beds and additional building materials.
ORGANIC FARMING TO FIGHT HUNGER
The Huerto project was originally based in Murcia, Spain to raise money to farm land and grow organic vegetables that are given out to refugees in need. As a supporter of this project, Give The Dream Foundation has collaborated with local charities that feed and house refugees.
