South Africa Conservation Expedition
WATER FOR SCHOOL CHILDREN
Our volunteers had the chance to return to West Africa to carry out a project that restored solar panels and a water pump to a school of over 400 students in The Gambia. Thanks to all of the donors we had enough resources to get the job done, we also had additional funds for updating plumbing and other needs at this school. We want to thank the Nyakoi school’s administration, the solar engineers at Regional Solar, and US Peace Corps volunteer Lacy Szuwalski for getting the job done in just a few days! The people in this village are very grateful for the access to water after three years of waiting.
Please click below to help fund a similar solar water pump at the next school in Africa without access to clean water for school children.
